Horse riding lesson

Your opportunity to have an introduction to riding -this is suitable for total beginners - 4-6 year olds who are keen to ride. It gives an introduction to riding, walking, and trotting on a pony around an enclosed arena.

What's included

The youngster will start off on the lead rein, led by a member of staff until ready to trot without aid. It gives an introduction to riding, walking, and trotting on a pony in an enclosed arena. Once they are confident of riding the pony in a trot and their concentration span allows it, they can move on to Beginners lessons.

This is a wonderful way to gain that first riding experience in a safe and controlled environment.
We strive to educate all the pupils with sound education based on The British Horse Society ethos.

Voucher

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

Special Conditions

Minimum age 4. Maximum age 6.
Registration forms must be completed.

Riding hats can be hired from the centre
It is advisable to wear leggings, track suit bottoms, comfortable trousers with a sensible pair of boots or shoes, preferably with a small heel and a smooth sole.
Trainers are not acceptable footwear. We have some boots available to borrow.

Booking your event

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
