Harness Horse Weekend

Carriage Driving Experience

A fantastic introduction to driving over a weekend on beautiful Dartmoor. Suitable for absolute beginners or for experienced carriage drivers.

What's included

This popular short break starts on Friday evening with a meal and an informal chat, and runs through to Sunday tea-time. It gives the absolute beginner a chance to see what driving is all about, and even if you have never touched a pony before you will be driving a single with confidence(always with an instructor with you) by Sunday tea-time. The more experienced driver can enjoy 2 days of challenging driving on Dartmoor lanes. We can also cover training a horse to harness, and working a horse on the land with chain harrows or other farm implements.

Voucher

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is non-transferable, which means that only the person named on the voucher can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

Special Conditions

Minimum age - not recommened for under 12's Under 18year old, must have an adult accompanying them - at additional charge. If you are over 15 stone, please advise us in advance.

Booking your event

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
