Horse riding lesson for those age 14+. Approximately 30mins private lesson for a rider able to ride competently at walk and trot off the lead rein. May be opportunity to upgrade to 1hrs group lesson dependent on availability.

What's included

Come and ride one of our schoolmasters for a lesson in the South Lakes. Improve on skills you already have and learn new ones! Lessons will vary depending on ability and may include jumping, cantering and cross country. There may be an opportunity to upgrade this voucher to one hours group lesson depending on availability and ability. Please enquire when booking. To help us fit you to the correct horse and time please be as accurate as possible about ability when booking.

Voucher

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

Special Conditions

Minimum age 14yrs. There is no maximum age although as horse riding is a high risk activity we would request that the client is of a reasonable level of health and fitness in order to participate. Please wear shoes with a half inch heel and long trousers. No trainers, sandals or loose/flappy clothing. All hair should be neat and tied back. Hats are available at no extra cost. Lessons are only available at certain times/dates. The lesson will take place outdoors so please come dressed appropriately for the weather (e.g. waterproofs/warm clothes/sun tan cream!). Riding is a high risk activity, ALL medical problems and obstacles to learning (including but not limited to hearing problems and learning difficulties) must be disclosed to staff before riding.

Booking your event

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
