Two Hour Taster Carriage Driving Lesson

Carriage Driving Experience

Have a go at Carriage Driving. Fantastic experience, fun to learn. No experience of horses necessary. Practise in a field, drive in and out of cones. Progress to driving on the 2000 year old Roman Fosse Way track. Create a lifetime memory.

What's included

Two Hour Have A Go At Carriage Driving ~ taster session Itinerary:

Introduction to the horses. Health and safety issues. Rein handling practice. Put on the harness and attach the carriage. Have a practice carriage drive in the field. Learn how to drive in a straight line, go round corners, change paces from walk to trot to walk to stop Use of the voice. Remove the carriage and harness. Wash, feed and care for the horse. Review the training. We look forward to welcoming you.



Voucher

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is non-transferable, which means that only the person named on the voucher can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 9 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.



Special Conditions

Must be reasonably agile to climb on and off the carriage. Minimum age 16 years. Maximum weight 16 stones.




Booking your event

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
