Mechanical Horse Taster session at Salisbury East

30 minute instruction session on Lancelot the mechanical horse. Opportunity to work on your basic position or more advanced positioning for lateral work etc. without outside distractions.

This experience will last a total of approx. 45 minutes with approx. 30 minutes in the saddle.

This is an ideal way to boost confidence when you are learning to ride or coming back from a break.
It offers a unique opportunity to work solely on your position and effectiveness as a rider without the distraction of 100 other things to think about.
They key thing with our simulator is that the movement is able to be influenced heavily by the rider so that you really feel a difference when you are sitting and riding correctly.
As well as mastering the basics it's really useful for learning poisitioning for lateral work, the correct use of the seat in sitting trot and canter and you can even try a flying change. There are mirrors on all sides so that you are able to view what your position looks like and how straight you are sitting but the key to really getting the most out of a simulator is the instruction you receive.
We have been teaching clients on Lancelot for over 2 years and we will ensure that you gain the maximum benefit out of the session.
Sessions are tailor made for each individual client- some people like to have a sit on Lancelot and then ride one of our schoolmasters to put everything into practice. It is also very valuable in the rain, wind and snow if riding outside looks an unattractive proposition!
