Horse riding lesson

Private beginners horse riding lesson lasting 30 minutes for one child age 5-13yrs. Learn the basics of horse riding, walking and trotting, steering and stopping on one of our ponies.

What's included

Come and ride one of our schoolmasters to learn the basics of horse riding in a safe and relaxed environment. Aimed at those with little or no prior horse riding experience you will learn the basics of how to control your pony including steering stopping and trotting! You may also have the opportunity to try out our challenging handy pony obstacle course to test out your new steering skills or possibly take your pony out for a walk out around our beautiful farm at the end of your lesson! Please specify height, weight and age when booking.

Voucher

Each voucher entitles one person to participate in this experience. The voucher is transferable, which means that anyone can use it. The voucher remains valid for bookings for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please contact the operator using the details printed on your voucher to arrange a date for your event.

Special Conditions

Minimum age 5 years Maximum age 13 years Hats are available at no extra cost. Please wear long trousers, gloves and shoes with a half inch heel. No trainers, sandals or loose/flappy clothing permitted. The lesson will take place outdoors so please come dressed appropriately for the weather (e.g. waterproofs/warm clothes/sun tan cream!) Please book at least a week in advance to avoid disappointment. Lessons only available at certain times/days. Riding is a high risk activity, ALL medical problems and obstacles to learning (including but not limited to hearing problems and learning difficulties) must be disclosed to staff before riding.

Booking your event

We recommend that you purchase your voucher and make a booking for your event at least one month prior to your chosen date. This is particularly important for weekend events.
